Why is Mental Health Important?

In simple terms, mental health is just a part of your healthy routine, and it is important so that you can lead a peaceful and happy life. The following are the main characteristics of good mental health and well-being:
According to many mental health professionals, when you are mentally fit and healthy, you start to enjoy your life, your environment, and the people in it.
  • You will be fearless.
  • At that point in time, you are better able to cope with your difficult time in personal and professional life.
  • You start to eat right so as to prevent mental health problems beforehand.
  • You have a fixed morning routine, you have to work out, have a gratitude journal, and have plans for the future with a backup plan.
  • Have a successful career
  • He has the best relationship with his partner
These are some of the characteristics of a person with strong mental health. These are very easy things to do, but what stops people from following such a simple regimen?

Reasons For the Degrading Mental Health of People

According to me, our history has the answer. The East India Company had ruled over us for more than 200 years. They impose their culture and tradition on us and make our culture inferior. This had greatly affected the mentality of the Indian people.
From there on, we start copying their style so as to look like equals. But till now we are copying them, and hence we adopt their bad things too. All mental health problems are the result of adopting Western culture.

Today, Western culture is in our roots. But we can’t abandon all these products and culture in the 21st century; however, living a peaceful life is still in our hands.

So, start living every day as if you're gonna die the very next day. Be fearless and choose your peace over anything. Just live your life to the fullest.

Understanding mental health from the very basics is the first step toward building a stronger, healthier, and more balanced life. By increasing awareness, breaking stigmas, and adopting simple self-care practices, you empower yourself to take charge of your overall well-being. Start your mental well-being journey here and take small, consistent steps that can make a big difference in your everyday life.
