The whole world is going through a tough phase right now. Due to the global pandemic, almost all the companies allow their employees to work from home for their well-being.

As a result, we have to do enormous changes in our work and life-styles. Work from home isn’t as easy as it appears – it can be tiring mentally, than physically.

During Office Hours

  • Set Manageable Goals

If you meet your priorities, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. The more control over the work we had, the less stressed we get. 

Hence, be realistic towards your goal. Complete those task that are urgent,then movement to then important one. In this way, you can narrow down your task and eliminate that unessential one. 

  • Be efficient with time

You have to stop procrastinate your tasks. When you are handling a big project, divide it into small chunks and complete it on time. Reward yourself for it so that you will be motivated and do all the task with ease. 

  • Take 5-minutes break

Small breaks will help you to clear your head and help you to deal with stress effectively.  When you returned to your work, you can make good decisions. 

  • Listen to music

It reveal in the study that if you listen to music while working, it will normalise your blood pressure, reduce depression and anxiety and helps you to complete your work faster than you expected. 

So, next time tune in to your favourite song and kick off the stress from your life. 

  • Log out on time
You can be tempted to finish off your work after the your shift over. But after working all day long, you were tired. Hence, it is good that you plan yourself to complete all your task half an hour early so that you have your time to log out on time during lockdown.

Following are some points you can follow after your office hours ends:

1.Hide your phone

After office hours, hide your phone so that you can do things that you think for a long time. You can go for a walk with a mask on of course... Reading your favourite book or video calling your friends. All in all, you have to relax your mind from gadgets. 

2. Write a journal

Writing about your day will help you to eradicate stress. After office hours, you can start writing journal and elaborate it with your ideas and visions so that your productivity in office increases. You have a clear vision of why you are working and what are your goals. 

3. Never skip your meal

Set a fixed time to take your meal be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. Never overwork your yourself with office works, you will be stressed out at the end. Hence, give your best to complete your tasks but in the mid take your meal in specific time. 

4. Book a virtual class

You can enroll in your hobby classes online. When your office ends, logon to your hobby class. In this way, you will feel more relaxed and controlled. 

5. Relax on your weekend

Weekends are the only time when you get fully relaxed. It's the time that you dedicate to your family.

During the lockdown, it is crucial to make the most of your time. Everything does not happen in a fraction of second; but, making small changes can make a lot of difference.

Lockdown does not mean you get frustrated. Instead, you need to evolve, upgrade and be ready to change. This optimistic attitude will help you overcome challenges in life later.

You should maintain proper work-life balance so that you could not be stressed and get all your work done at ease. For this planning is important. Give your time to your family because in the end they will help you.
